FREE WILL ASTROLOGY – Week beginning February 19, 2021

PISCES (from February 19 to March 20):
Ancient Greek playwright Euripides It was popular and influential, and continues to be so to this day, 2,400 years later. But there is a curiously dull aspect in five of his works, Andromache, Alcestis, Helen, Medea, Y The bacchantes. They all have the exact same ending: six lines, spoken by a chorus, that basically say that the gods are unpredictable. Was Euripides lazy? Trying too hard to drive home the point? Or were the endings added later by an editor? Scholars disagree. The main reason I point this out to you is to encourage you to avoid similar behaviors. I think it is very important that the stories you are living now have a different ending than all the stories from your past.
ARIES (March 21 to April 19):
Atheists like to confront religious people with accusations like this: “If God is so good, why does he allow suffering in the world?” His simplistic and childish idea of God as a kind of moral policeman ignores the exuberant range of musings about the Divine that have been offered over the centuries by poets, novelists, philosophers and theologians. For example, poet Stephane Mallarme wrote: “The spirit does not care about anything except universal musicality.” He suggested that the Supreme Intelligence is an artist who makes music and tells stories. And as you know, music and stories include all human adventures, not just happy things. I bring these thoughts to your attention, Aries, because the next few weeks will be an auspicious time to honor and celebrate the wonderful and rich stories of your own life, and to feel gratitude for the wide range of experiences you have been blessed with. PS: Now is also a favorable phase to rethink and reconfigure your answers to the Big Questions.
TAURUS (from April 20 to May 20):
Blogger Rachel C. Lewis confesses: “I love being so simple. I love sending reckless text messages and telling people that I love them and telling people that they are absolutely magical humans and that I can’t believe they actually exist. I love saying, ‘Kiss me harder,’ ‘You’re a good person,’ and ‘You make my day.’ What would your unique version of Lewis’s bluntness look like, Taurus? What cheeky compliment would you offer? What declarations of affection and care would you unleash? What naked confessions could you reveal? The next few days will be an auspicious time to explore these possibilities.
GEMINI (from May 21 to June 20):
It is a good time to become more of what you are by engaging with more of what you are not. Prepare for this heroic exercise by studying the following spiel by Gemini poet Adam Zagajewski (who writes in Polish), translated by Gemini poet Clare cavanaugh: “Read for yourself, read for inspiration, to feel the sweet confusion in your beautiful head. But also read against yourself, read for questioning and helplessness, for despair and scholarship, read the dry and sardonic comments of the cynical philosophers. Read those whose darkness, malice, madness or greatness you cannot yet understand, because only then will you grow, survive yourself and become what you are. “
CANCER (from June 21 to July 22):
You are on the brink of great strides. You are ready to explore borders, at least in your imagination. You are brave enough to go further and try harder than you ever could before. With that in mind, here’s a very apt idea from Cancer novelist Tom Robbins. He writes: “If you take any activity, any art, any discipline, any skill, take it and push it as far as it can go, push it further than it has been before, push it to the wildest edge, then force it into the realm. of magic. “(He could use the word” coerce “or” push “instead of” force “in Robbins’ statement).
LEO (July 23 to August 22):
In its history Homeland, Margaret Atwood writes: “Take me to your trees. Take me to your breakfasts, to your sunsets, to your nightmares, to your shoes. Take me to your fingers. “I would love for you to express requests like that. It is an auspicious time for you to delve into the mysteries of the people you care about. It will generate healing and blessings by cultivating reverent curiosity, intelligent empathy, and cunning intimacy. about your best allies.
VIRGO (from August 23 to September 22):
You are about to reach the end of your correction and adjustment phase. To mark this momentous transition and to honor his growing ability to bargain with his demons, I offer you the following inspiring proclamation from the poet Jeannette Napolitano: “I don’t want to look back five years and think, ‘We could have been great, but I was scared.’ In five years, I want to tell how fear tried to take the best of my life, and I did not let it. “
LIBRA (from September 23 to October 22):
This is not a good time to obsess over vague abstractions, fear-based fantasies, and imaginary possibilities. But it is a favorable phase to rise up in favor of practical and intimate changes. At least for now, I also want to advise you not to get angry or militant over big and complicated issues that you have little power to affect. On the other hand, I encourage you to be inspired and aggressive about the injustices that you can really help correct and the wrong approaches that you can correct and the nearby dilemmas for which you can summon constructive solutions.
ESCORPION (from October 23 to November 21):
“The most beautiful things are those that madness drives and reason writes,” declared the author. Andre Gide. I myself, as a writer, will bear witness to the truth of that formulation. But what about those of you who are not poets, novelists, and essayists? This is how I would alter Gide’s statement to fit you: “The most beautiful things are those that rapture drives and reason refines.” Or perhaps this: “The most beautiful things are those that experimentation finds and uses reason.” Or how about this one: “The most beautiful things are what madness generates and reason enhances.” Each and every one of these dynamics will be a treasure for you in the coming weeks.
SAGITTARIUS (from November 22 to December 21):
The poet Nayyirah waheed has some advice that I want you to hear. She writes: “Be easy. Take your time. You are going home to yourself. “I will add that, from my astrological perspective, the next few weeks will be a time for you to relax more deeply within yourself, to fully welcome yourself to your unique destiny; forgive yourself for what you imagine to be your defects; not wanting to be another person who follows a different path; to be at peace and in harmony with the exact life you have.
CAPRICORN (from December 22 to January 19):
“The main objective of education is not to learn things, but to unlearn things,” wrote the author. GK Chesterton. He was exaggerating for dramatic effect when he said that, as he often did. The more nuanced truth is that one of the central objectives of education is to learn things, and another very valuable objective is to unlearn things. I think you are currently in a phase where you must put an emphasis on unlearning things that are irrelevant, meaningless, and obstructive. This will be an excellent preparation for your next phase, in which you will learn many useful and revitalizing new things.
AQUARIUS (from January 20 to February 18):
Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943) eventually became one of the most renowned composers of the 20th century. But his career got off to a rocky start. Symphony No. 1, his first major work, was criticized by critics, which sent him into a four-year slump. He finally recovered. His next great composition, Piano Concerto No. 2, it was well received. I don’t anticipate that your rookie offers or your new job will get the kind of dire reviews that Rachmaninoff did. But at least initially, there may be no great criticism and possibly even indifference. Keep the faith, dear. Don’t hesitate to carry out your vision of the future. The rewards will come in due course.
