The series captures the journey of four friends who try to maneuver through the ups and downs of single life, friendship, careers, and more. The show stars actresses KJ Smith, Ebony Obsidian, Mignon, and Novi Brown, and it is rated No. 1 with African-American’s between the ages of 18-49 and 25-54. The highly anticipated second season of the show is now airing on the BET network.
Political drama The Oval is another #1 hit show for BET, and it’s an original scripted series produced, written, and directed by Perry. The Oval’s spinoff show Ruthless—which chronicles the journey of Ruth Truesdale and her desperate attempts to free herself and her daughter from the evil clutches of a notorious religious cult—is slated to air a new season on BET Plus later this winter.
