I extended the orange from my crease into my outer eye, creating a slightly triangular shape, extended towards the end of my brow. I decided I wanted the bronze and orange shimmer to blend into each other almost like an ombré. So, I used a shadow brush to pat the bronze shade on the inner half of my lid, making sure to not get too much of it on that beautifully blended out matte orange.
Then, I took the other metallic shade and tapped it in from where the bronze ended to the outer corner of my lid. The two sparkly shades are nicely pigmented and melted seamlessly into each other, which made me very excited.
I added the yellowish-white shimmer to my inner corner (and mixed it with a little bit of the bronze because it was a tad too light for my taste) before lining my lower lash line with the matte orange shade. To finish my eye makeup, I used a few coats of mascara, and I was all done. This sunset eye makeup looked pretty darn good, and the shadows lived up to my standards. I didn’t have to work too hard to get the pigmentation I love.
I created a few more looks with the palette — one using the Artistry Combo “Hard Drop” and then the others based on my personal preferences. I came up with a shimmery olive smoky eye and a simple pink and mauve look that looked super cute. All in all, I was happy with the results from this palette.
