Here’s your weekly horoscope …

FREE WILL ASTROLOGY – Week beginning May 20, 2021

GEMINI (from May 21 to June 20):
Here’s a public service announcement for you, Gemini of the planet and the god Mercury: You don’t have to be the same person you were three years ago, or six months ago, or last week, or even five minutes ago, to the case. . In addition, Mercury wants you to know that you have been authorized to begin a period of improvisation and experimentation, hopefully guided by a single fundamental directive: what you find the most fun and interesting. In the next few weeks it will be more important to create yourself anew than to know precisely who you are.

CANCER (from June 21 to July 22):
As a Zen Buddhist priest for 47 years, Kōshō Uchiyama he was knowledgeable about the power illusions can wield over our imaginations. “If we are not careful,” he said, “we are willing to place maximum value on something that we just made up in our head.” I won’t tell you the examples from my own life that prove his point, because they are too embarrassing. And I’m happy to report that I don’t think you’re anywhere near giving * maximum value * to something you just made up in your head. But I advise you to be on the lookout for milder versions of that phenomenon.

LEO (July 23 to August 22):
Leo born teacher Sibelan Forrester He is an expert on incantations, spells, and incantations in Russian folklore. She wrote: “An empty place where no one can see or hear what one says is the right place to do magic.” Spells often begin with these words, he added: “I stand up and say a blessing. I go out, crossing myself, and go to an open field ”. Whether you have a Russian heritage or not, Leo, I see the immediate future as a good time to perform magic in an open field with no one else around. What could be the intention of your magic? How about something like this? “I ask my guides and ancestors to help me offer my most inspired generosity to serve the health, inspiration and liberation of the people whose lives I touch.”

VIRGO (from August 23 to September 22):
Spiritual author Stephen russell wrote: “Do not mask or deny your vulnerability: it is your greatest asset.” That’s an exaggeration, in my opinion. Is vulnerability a greater asset than your intelligence, compassion, and creativity? Not from my point of view. But I recognize the high value of vulnerability, especially for you Virgo, for the next three weeks. “Be vulnerable,” Russell continues. “Tremble and shake your boots with it. The new generosity and beauty that are coming to you, in the form of people, situations and things, can only come to you when you are vulnerable, open. “

LIBRA (from September 23 to October 22):
My friend Jenny’s Swedish grandmother used to say to her semi-regularly: “åh tänk om vi vore korkade, vi skulle vara så lyckliga”, that is, “If only we were stupid, we would be so happy.” In the coming weeks, I ask you to refute that popular wisdom. Based on my analysis of astrological potentials, now is a favorable time for you to explore the ways in which your intelligence could enhance and deepen your enjoyment of life. Your motto should be: “The smarter we are, the happier we will be.”

ESCORPION (from October 23 to November 21):
At some point soon I invite you to deliver a message similar to what the poet Kenneth rexroth once delivered to a special person in your life. He wrote: “Your tongue vibrates and moves / Within me, and I become / Hollow and glow / Revolving light, like the interior / Of a vast expanding pearl.” Do you know someone who might be willing to listen to this lyrical eulogy? If not, create a fantasy character in your imagination who you can tell. On the other hand, perhaps you meet a real person who would appreciate a more earthy, less poetic tribute. If so, pass it on; something like this: “Your influence over me amplifies my ability to be my best self.” Now is the perfect time to honor, praise and reward those who thrill and excite you.

SAGITTARIUS (from November 22 to December 21):
Author Aldous Huxley said: “I can sympathize with people’s pains, but not with their pleasures. There is something oddly boring about someone else’s happiness. “To that I reply,” Did the pleasure and happiness of others bore you? Perhaps you were suffering from raging narcissism and an addiction to cynicism. ” In any case, Sagittarius, I hope you’re not like Huxley in the next few weeks. I think you could gain useful insights and personal benefit from knowing and appreciating the joys of others.

CAPRICORN (from December 22 to January 19):
Capricorn Entrepreneur Howard Hughes (1905-1976) had great success early in his life. Working as a film director and aviation pioneer, he became a wealthy philanthropist. But as he got older, he became increasingly eccentric and lonely. For the last 10 years of his life, he lived in expensive hotels, where he placed strict and often absurd demands on hotel staff. For example, if you called room service to get a meal that included peas, they would measure the peas with a ruler and return the ones that they thought were too large. I hope you Capricorns also have an intense focus on mastering the details in the coming weeks, but not as intense or misguided as that mindless obsession.

AQUARIUS (from January 20 to February 18):
Aquarius Author Charles dickens (1812-1870) was famous and popular. The public packed the corridors where he held lectures and public readings. His favorite way to prepare for these late-night events was to spend the day sipping a pint of champagne, as well as generous servings of rum, cream, and sherry with beaten eggs in the mix. I have no problem with that – whatever works, right? —But I suggest a different approach for your next appointments with greater visibility and prominence. Like what? How about sexy meditations on your gratitude for your expanding possibilities? What about the funny fantasies that focus on how you will use your greatest influence?

PISCES (from February 19 to March 20):
In his next book The Dictionary of Dark Pain, John koenig he proposes that we start using “monachopsis,” a word he coined. He defines it in the following way: “the feeling of being out of place, as misfit to his environment as a seal on a beach: heavy, clumsy, easily distracted, huddled in the company of other misfits, unable to recognize the ambient roar of its intended habitat, where you would be fluid, bright and effortless at home. “Even if you’ve spent too much time experiencing monachopsis lately, my dear, I predict this discomfort will soon dissipate and give way to a prolonged phase of being at home with fluid, bright and effortless way.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19):
Aries playwright Samuel Beckett wrote the play Waiting for Godot. At one point in the tale, the character named Estragon suggests that it might be possible, even desirable, to “dance first, think later.” In response, the character named Pozzo says: “Of course, nothing simpler. It’s the natural order. “With that in mind, and in keeping with astrological omens, I am going to encourage you to dance first and think later as much as possible in the coming weeks. In my opinion, your ability to analyze and reason will thrive on to the extent that you encourage your body to engage in free and enjoyable play.Your power to make good decisions will grow as you take good care of your physical organism and give it a great deal of pleasure and release.

TAURUS (from April 20 to May 20):
As we enter a phase where gradual and incremental progress is the best possible progress, I offer you the final lines of Taurus poet Adrienne Rich’s poem “From a Survivor”: “not as a leap, but as a succession of brief and amazing moves, each one making the next possible. ” I especially want to draw your attention to the fact that small steps can be “short, surprising movements.” Don’t underestimate the power of minor, subtle, and regular advances.
