Offer is valid through Dec. 31 for any customer who identifies himself as a first-line responder, which Starbucks describes as: doctors, nurses, public health workers, pharmacists, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, agents law enforcement, dentists and dental services. hygienists, mental health workers (therapist, psychologist, social worker, counselor, etc.), hospital staff such as janitor / janitor / security, active duty military, contact tracers, pharmaceutical and vaccine researchers, pilots, flight attendants , TSA and medical researchers.

To further support the community, the company also plans to surprise 50,000 frontline first responders with Starbucks aid packages and gift cards this holiday season.

The new promotion is similar to a previous giveaway aimed at healthcare workers, when the company promised to give them a free cup of coffee from late March through May, which amounted to more than 2 million beers.

Since March, The Starbucks Foundation has donated more than $ 1 million to support front-line responders, including the delivery of personal protective equipment, essential medical supplies, care packages and handwritten letters, and support for emergency assistance, including mental health resources for first responders and health workers.
