When the pandemic turned in-person learning virtual for students at a Washington, DC high school, a chemistry teacher quickly got creative with his lessons.
Jonte Lee turned his kitchen into a chemistry lab, used his own money to buy and deliver supplies for his 35 students, then went on to teach.
Now it’s not just Lee’s students who enjoy their lessons at home: Videos from The kitchen chemist They have since gone viral with schoolchildren in other parts of the United States.
