Revolution Beauty Launches Official ‘Friends’ Makeup Collection

UPDATE (November 16, 2020, 10:50 a.m.): In November, Revolution Beauty expanded its offering of official Friends makeup products with a second installment of the collaboration.

The Revolution x Friends 2.0 collection includes four eye shadow palettes inspired by iconic references from the show (the keyhole frame, Central Perk coffee mugs, Phoebe’s taxi cab, and more).

Lip scrubs, a slew of accessories, and some bath and body products also joined the mix. This collection also gives an overdue shoutout to the men of the series with three lip gloss shades in varying pink hues, named after Joey, Chandler, and Ross respectively.

You can find each of these items now from Ulta or revolutionbeauty.com for anywhere between $8 and $25. You can also shop our favorite items from the collection, below.

Try to name a more iconic television show than Friends. We’re not entirely sure it’s possible. Even people who “hate” Friends still watch Friends. They still clap along to that one part of the theme song. They’ll still have an hour-long argument with you about whether or not Ross was good enough for Rachel. They probably still, to this day, have just a hint of a crush on Joey Tribbiani — it’s just that culturally ubiquitous. And, naturally, bucketloads of Friends merchandise has been readily available throughout the past couple of decades. Friends-themed clothing, accessories, home decor, and even kitchenware are all easy to find and buy online — but Friends makeup, for some reason, has been rare. That is, until now.

Revolution Beauty is launching an official Friends makeup line on September 14, and it’s given Allure a small sneak preview. The collection features three nine-shade eye shadow palettes and three creamy bullet lipsticks inspired by Phoebe Buffay, Rachel Green, and Monica Geller respectively.

Though the full collection won’t be revealed until the launch date, we can show you one of the character-inspired palettes from the collection. The Phoebe Palette’s packaging is plastered with a picture of the taxi cab she inherits from her grandmother on the show. Inside, you’ll find mostly pastel hues in varying finishes with names like Smelly Cat, Lobster, and Triplet.
