Mom Sparks Creative Imagination in Kids With Her Toys Made From Cardboard Boxes – LOOK

SWNS

This smart mom is saving parents money by teaching them how to make intricate children’s toys from cardboard boxes.

Engineer and mother of two Nazdar Tayib builds everything from kitchen sets to pirate ships, and shares tutorial videos online for others to enjoy.

Nazdar also creates toy school buses, barbecue grills, cars, washing machines, and whatever else his five-year-old son and two-year-old daughter want.

“I know some parents can’t buy things for their kids like a playhouse or play kitchen because they’re expensive, so why not make it out of cardboard?” Said Nazdar, who lives in Tennessee.

“I think doing it with your hands is more fun and your child will love it. My son asked me if I could make him a pirate ship, so I made a pirate ship.

“They said, ‘Can you make me a food truck?’ So I make a food truck. “

Nazdar started making his creations without a budget two years ago and last year he started a YouTube channel, Square World, to help other parents save money and be creative.

Each toy is cleverly designed to fold neatly for storage.

“You can fold them, take them apart and save them for later,” Nazdar said.

“I keep them all in my big closet and ask my kids which one they want to play with.

“Children get bored very quickly, they play with them for a while and then they get bored.

“So cardboard is great because it’s free or inexpensive and so easy to find.

“I just buy washable tape and paint, or sometimes I don’t paint them at all. It doesn’t really cost me that much. “

Nazdar takes about four hours to prepare each item, and encourages other parents to try it if they find time.

“If you want to start, your kids are going to love it,” he said.

“My children love to play with them and my son even helps me paint sometimes.

“It’s a fun experience.”
