Jennifer Garner Turned Into the Grandma Emoji for Halloween — See the Photos

Despite how different things are this year due to the pandemic, Jennifer Garner is kicking off Halloween 2020 on a strong note, and we couldn’t love her more for it. For her costume, the 48-year-old actor transformed into the grandma emoji — complete with faux wrinkles, glasses, and a poufy white wig. And well, the finished look is nothing short of iconic.

Garner revealed the costume on her Instagram in the form of a hilarious video in which she’s shown stretching it out, getting into bed, and then applying some of Neutrogena’s Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum. “This Halloween I dressed up as my favorite emoji: 👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻♥️. Luckily for me, @neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair retinol oil reduces fine lines in a week — deep wrinkles in 4!” reads part of her caption.

To help her with the transformation, Garner enlisted her longtime makeup artist Fiona Stiles, who’s been behind many of her past costumes. Stiles shared several photos of the makeover process on her Instagram grid, along with a lengthy caption about how much she loves working with Garner because she allows her to get out of her comfort zone.

No surprise here: Stiles is getting a ton of love on her post from fans and fellow makeup artist friends alike, including Hung Vanngo, who commented, “Sooo good ❤️.”

Needless to say, we love this costume idea and think it’s a great last-minute option for anyone who’s still not sure what to be. All you need is some eyeliner or eye shadow to create the wrinkles, round glasses, and a white wig (or you could simply wear your hair in a similar style bun).

Props to Garner for coming up with such an epic costume — and to Stiles, of course, for bringing it to fruition.
