The 63rd Grammy Awards are tonight!
With over 83 categories it is almost impossible to know ALL the nominees, but we picked our top 3 and why we think they will be Grammy winners tonight.
1. Beyoncé: Need we say more?! No stranger to the Grammy award stage Beyoncé leads with 9 nominations this year. Her hit and love letter to black girls around the world “BROWN SKIN GIRL” is nominated for best music video. Beyoncé has blown our minds over the years with her performances,visuals and red carpet looks . There are reports that Beyoncé will not be participating in this years awards. We will have to wait until tonight to know for sure and see if she comes out on top.
2. Jhene Aiko: Aiko has three Grammy nominations from her project, “Chilombo”: Best R&B performance, Best progressive R&B album and Album of the year! Her hit B.S became an anthem. Aiko’s has the ability to grace us on red carpets and on stage in a way that feels effortless. In 2015 she was a first time Grammy nominee and rocked a trendy bob and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry to top off the look. We can’t wait to see her look tonight!
3. Chloe and Halle: The incredibly talented duo that is Chloe x Halle are nominated for three Grammy Awards. What we love most about this duo is that they are unapologetic in their style and stage presence. Their album “Ungodly Hour” is a fan favorite. Aside from the music, internet breaking Instagram post, and trending style, what we love most are THEIR LOCS! The Atlanta born duo have shown us over the years the versatility in wearing locs… and we love them for it!
