December 1, 2020– “The Human Library is built on a very simple idea: conversation is key to understanding. The global platform for hands-on learning, based in Denmark, works to create a secure framework for personal conversations that can help challenge prejudice and discrimination, prevent conflict, and contribute to greater human cohesion across social, religious, and ethnic divisions. People who can help challenge stereotypes volunteer to serve as books and engage in conversations with their readers that are expected , appreciated and welcomed with an open heart. International coordinator Alma Pripp shares more about how the Humana Library is working to help create more inclusive and united communities around the world. ” (21 readings)
