Reuters reported that the Munich Animal Welfare Association hired an unidentified advertising agency to photograph some of their adoptable animals and write some Tinder profiles to help find “the perfect match.”

One of the animals was a black and white cat named “Captain Kirk”.

“Multiple people” have swiped right on Tinder, according to the shelter’s Jillian Moss.

“The answer is crazy, it is exploding everywhere,” he told Reuters.

The shelter has been processing applications and conducting interviews in hopes of finding suitable homes for the single pets, pairing them with lonely humans.
