Ciara Just Debuted Cotton Candy Blue Hair — See the Photos

Ciara officially said sayonara to her brown hair this weekend — and hello to a brand-new blue hue that lowkey reminds us of the ocean-esque shade Lady Gaga debuted this past August. The “1, 2 Step” singer’s color is definitely on the deeper side, though, and it has a hint of silver to it.

The 35-year-old mom of three revealed her colorful new hair on Instagram in the form of a selfie, along with the caption: “Blu. Color by @cesar4styles Styled by Me.” The hairstylist she’s referring to is none other than César DeLeön Ramîrez, who, in addition to Ciara, also works with celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Cardi B, and Kim Kardashian.

Ramîrez reshared Ciara’s selfie on his own grid with the caption, “Sunday BlueZzz @ciara Blue is the hue for Fall/Winter. Who is down to go blue? 💎💙❄️🧿” Naturally, fans are flooding the comment section with messages like, “You snapped on this coloring! 😩🙌🏽,” “Yes!!! Love it sooo much!! 🥶” and “VIBE!!!! LOVE that blue tone 😍.”

This is a pretty big deal for the vocalist, seeing as she’s not one to change up her hair color too often. She’s also never gone for a bold blue shade like this, so it’s super cool and refreshing to see her try something new and out of her comfort zone. It’s almost making us consider a blue dye job, too. (Almost.)
