Welcome to February, Capricorn! As January came to an end, the first Mercury retrograde of the year began and you started to review past communication errors and look for changes to make amends. See, retrogrades aren’t all bad! They’re an opportunity for a re-do. Now, on Monday, February 1, romance planet Venus enters Aquarius and your 2nd House of Possessions. If you’re partnered and cohabitating, this transit may see you redecorating your home together. You may also collaborate with someone you care about on a creative or professional project. If you’re single, this transit may indicate a need to take inventory of what you are looking for in a partner. The new moon in Aquarius on Thursday, February 11 is an ideal time to get the ball rolling on this reflection. 

The biggest astrological event of the year is the clashing of innovative Uranus, which is in reliable Taurus, and your ruling planet, strict Saturn, which is in eccentric Aquarius. They square off three times this year, and the first time is Wednesday, February 17. Everyone will be affected by this transit in different ways, but we’ll all be able to see it play out on a larger scale in the political face-off between conservative and progressive thinking. As it pertains to just you, devilish Capricorn, when Taurus and Aquarius square off, your 5th House of Pleasure meets your 2nd House of Possessions. Pleasure can indeed indicate sex, but it also relates to the pleasure you derive from your work. And, as perhaps the hardest working sign of the zodiac, your work plays a crucial role in your well-being. So what’s missing? It’s true that making money is more difficult right now due to the pandemic, but this transit is a good time to review your sources of income. Does the way you make money bring you joy? If not, what can you do about it?   

When creative Pisces season begins on Thursday, February 18, it’s time to tap into your artistic side, Capricorn. Take a break from crunching numbers and do something just for you. You’re such a practical sign, Capricorn, that sometimes you forget to be poetic in your expression of love. Your partner may know that you care, but they may feel neglected when it comes to romance.
