Artist Takes Twigs and Turns Them Into Dancing Figures—Creating New Image Every Day
Twigs are good for lighting fires, roasting marshmallows, and it turns out they make art. Using found twigs, London-born Chris Kenny makes dancing figures, famous and not-so-famous saints, even a baby.

Kenny is committed to his art. For the last 5 years, he has been doing fun twig portraits every day and has posted them on Instagram. @twigsaints.
In Chris’s words, “These fragile little figures writhe in agony or ecstasy and come together like a portrait of humanity with all our energy and sensuality, our arrogance and illusion.”
You I definitely want to check more of his work, especially since it is not just twigs Kenny works with, but various humble materials: “scraps taken from books or maps, photographs or discarded books.”

However, for now, let’s take a look at some of those unique twig figurines you’ve been creating.
