Ariana Grande Wore a Lavender French Manicure While Teasing the Title of Her Unreleased Album — See the Photos

Ariana Grande’s is releasing a new album this month and her fans (ourselves included) couldn’t be more excited. To get people even more pumped about the upcoming album drop, she shared a mysterious sneak peek on Instagram — and with a super-cool new nail look no less.

The teaser was posted on Saturday afternoon and showcases Grande typing out the word “positions” on her laptop — so naturally, fans are suspecting it’s the title of her album. Of course, there’s no way of knowing for sure until the album officially drops, though it would make a really awesome name. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer to find out one way or another.

On another note, because the “Sweetener” singer’s digits are on full display in the video, many folks are commenting on her nail look, which is a lavender French manicure with thick white tips. Amid countless people commenting about the supposed title of the album, you’ll find messages like: “It’s the fresh set for me 💅🏽 … and I can’t wait for the album!” “the manicure though😍😍,” and “nice nails!!!!”

Like so many other celebrities (i.e. the Kardashians, Bella Hadid, Megan Thee Stallion, etc.), Grande’s clearly been having fun experimenting with unique little twists on the classic nail trend.

Unfortunately, Grande didn’t reveal who did her nails, though this look is fairly easy to recreate at home if you’re interested. You just need some lavender nail polish, like NCLA’s Nail Laquer in As If or Essie’s Nail Polish in Go Ginza, along with an opaque white polish and a nail sticker (Orly’s Half Moon Guides are great) to help you get a nice and precise finish on the tips.

In terms of shape and length, the singer obviously went for a longer oval style, but you can achieve this look with whatever shape you like best.

Needless to say, we’re on the edge of our seat waiting for Ari’s new music, so in the meantime, we’ll just be here copying this manicure (and jamming to her old songs) until it’s finally here.
