Amazing Photos Show the Movements of Diving Kingfisher After Photographer Waited Two Years for Perfect Pics

SWNS

These incredible images showing the movement of a diving kingfisher are the result of a photographer waiting two years to get the perfect photo.

Vince Burton, 47, used a slow shutter speed to capture the bird’s trail as it plunged into a pond at a speed of up to 40 km / h (25 mph).

The torpedo-shaped blue kingfisher can be seen darting into the water with its bill as it searches for fish to feed its chicks near Norwich in Norfolk.

Accountant Vince used the latest photographic techniques to slow his shutter speed and darken the background, capturing a shocking image of the kingfisher dive without using photoshop.

He said: “I have been working with this farmland site for four years. It took me the better part of two years to get this vaccine. “

“Normally, a kingfisher controls the territory for a year and then welcomes a partner from a neighboring territory.

“These images were taken while the kingfishers were raising their young, which fledged a month later.”

Here at GNN, we are very happy that Vince landed his perfect shots.
