ByMe. Black Liquid Eyeliner Has the Best Formula For Doing Cat-Eyes

A sharp black eyeliner wing has always been my defense against the world. I don’t know how or why, but no other makeup seems to give off the same leave-me-alone-or-else vibe that I’m going for. That said, a high-quality liquid eyeliner formula is a non-negotiable part of my makeup kit. I’ve tested, hated, and fallen head over heels for more than a few formulas over the past decade — still, I’m always looking for new ones that hit all the right buttons. This month, I stumbled upon ByMe.’s Black Liquid Eyeliner and ended up finding a new staple to add to my star roster.

When I took a first glance at ByMe.’s minimal white packaging and branding, I didn’t know what I was in for. I swatched it on my hand and instantly saw that the pigments in the Black Liquid Liner are truly as dark as they come. It has a very wet feeling, so it glides easily across the skin, but it dries down super quickly. One of my biggest pet peeves is when eyeliner tugs at the skin, and this formula’s pigment and texture helps to avoid that completely. I never have to worry about watery payoff or re-applying several times at the risk of messing up my liner.

Then there’s that felt-tip applicator. Some brands eyeliner pens have soft and flexible brush tips, which aren’t the easiest to use without tons of experience and really steady hands. But ByMe. gave their Black Liquid Eyeliner a felt-tipped applicator instead, which makes a world of difference. Because it’s on the stiffer side, it provides just the right amount of control and flexibility for pulling off a perfect flick. Whether you’re a winged-eyeliner veteran or are still learning the ropes, this pigmented liner pen will likely end up on your wish list over and over again. Try it for yourself in this month’s Allure Beauty Box and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

You’ll find ByMe.’s Black Liquid Eyeliner in our limited-edition Fragrance Allure Beauty Box.
